The General Chairs are pleased to announce the 2024 recipient of the The David Hakken Participatory Design Grant, Farhan Hanis.

Farhan Hanis is a PhD candidate at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia). Her studies focus on collaborative online learning (COLAB) in primary schools, utilizing a participatory design method that incorporates users from diverse cultural backgrounds and stakeholders’ perspectives. This innovative approach aims to improve parent-teacher engagement and bridge communication gaps, potentially enhancing student performance in primary schools as aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4).
