Call for Applications: Co-Design Academy Summer School
Join us for a 2-day Co-Design Summer School in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia on August 9-10, 2024
We invite students and early-career researchers in Participatory Design (PD) to apply for the Co-Design Academy Summer School, co-located with the Participatory Design Conference 2024.
Objectives:
- Explore co-design approaches and best practices
- Apply co-design in a short project with a focus on Global South contexts
- Enhance knowledge of co-design and share approaches in the Global South
- Foster networking opportunities and establish connections between SIGCHI chapters in the Global South
- Encourage collaboration among Global South researchers and students in HCI, PD, and related disciplines
Eligibility:
- Students and researchers interested in participatory design and community-based co-design
Approximately 10 participants will be selected

Acceptance to the summer school will include accommodation and meals during the summer school days (9-10 August), as well as accommodation during the conference period (11-16 August). This will be provided at the University of Technology Sarawak Student Hostel.
